Ecofibre’s (EOF) subsidiary, EOF Distribution, has entered an exclusive distribution agreement with CVS Pharmacy.
Under the agreement, EOF Distribution will distribute topical hemp-derived products for sale across CVS locations.
Topical cream products under Ecofibre’s Ananda Hemp business include roll-on deodorants, lotions and healing ointments — all of which contain active cannabinoids.
The company will initially supply 10 products at select CVS Pharmacy locations. All of the products will be manufactured in Ecofibre’s new U.S. Headquarters, which are located in Georgetown, Kentucky.
“We are very pleased to have been selected to supply this brand of products to be offered exclusively at CVS, and are excited at the long-term prospects of providing high-quality hemp-derived products to a broad range of consumers,” EOFD CEO David Neu said.
The agreement is ongoing and covers potential future purchase orders with no specified minimum or maximum value.
The products are expected to be available for purchase at select CVS locations in December this year.
Ecofibre is up 7.83 per cent and shares are trading for $3.03 each at 12:58 pm AEST.
