Golden Deeps (GED) has appointed Jon Dugdale as CEO, effective June 1.

Dugdale is a well credentialed geologist with more than 30 years of experience in the resources sector.

For the first 20 years of his career, Jon worked at WMC and MPI Mines and was involved in major discoveries at the St Ives and Agnew Gold projects in WA.

He was also instrumental in the exploration and development of the Silver Swan nickel deposit and the Golden Gift discovery with MPI.

Jon has spent the past 10 years as a fund manager with Lion Selection Group and has been managing director of several ASX-listed companies.

“Jon brings to the company a demonstrated track record of discovery and promotional skills that will be invaluable as we look to drive shareholder value for Golden Deeps,” Director Michael Rodriguez said.

“With drilling results imminent for our high-grade copper-silver targets in Namibia and studies and drilling to come for our other projects, it’s a great time for Jon to come on board and drive shareholders interest through discovery and enthusiastic presentation.”

At Golden Deeps, Dugdale will advance the company’s Khusib Springs and Nosib copper-silver-vanadium targets and the Abenab Vanadium Project in Namibia.

Company shares are steady on the market and are trading at 1.2 cents at 12:11 pm AEST.
