Golden Deeps (GED) has intersected further copper, lead, silver and vanadium mineralisation from the Nosib Block Prospect in Namibia.

The company has received results from the final seven of the 15 reverse circulation (RC) holes which were drilled to test a mineralised unit between three historically mined areas.

Pleasingly, copper mineralisation was intersected in all seven holes which means all 15 intersected significant copper.

Furthermore, the majority intersected exceptional lead and silver as well as high-grade vanadium.

Best results come from hole 10 where an intersection of nine metres at 3.66 per cent copper, 11.91 per cent lead, 3.62 per cent vanadium oxide and 7.70g/t silver was encountered.

Hole nine returned the highest grade of silver with 18.75g/t intersected.

“Nosib represents a significant new discovery for Golden Deeps. The high-grade copper, lead and vanadium mineralisation extends from surface, is open along strike and continues well into the footwall, at depth, below the previously developed mineralisation,” CEO Jon Dugdale said.

“We see potential here to not only define a shallow, open-pitable, resource of copper, lead and vanadium but also for high-grade copper-silver mineralisation extending to depth.”

Golden Deeps has planned further drilling to test extensions to the copper-lead-vanadium mineralisation which remains open along strike to the northeast and southwest.

The company will also test extensions of a developing copper-silver shoot that may represent a high-grade mineralised zone.

Shares in Golden Deeps were up 7.69 per cent on the market this morning and were trading at 1.4 cents at 10:28 am AEST.
