Following the certification, intelliHR’s share price is up 46.15 per cent to sit at 9.5 cents apiece at market close.

Xero’s app marketplace features numerous apps which are designed to help run businesses. This includes point of sale, accounting, and payroll, which intelliHR specialises in.

Through the app, users can complete their own banking, digital tax, and super forms.

The payroll system is one of the company’s people management tools, which aims to simplify employee relations and replace manual, paper based systems.

According to intelliHR, distributing its products on software as a service (SaaS) marketplaces is a strategic business move due to its extended reach and nil-to-low customer acquisition cost.

Featuring on the Xero app marketplace is expected to increase the company’s user base and help expand intelliHR into the global market.
