Kula Gold (KGD) has found copper mineralisation at its Brunswick Project in the southwest of Western Australia.

The company recently completed a field program at the project, which successfully identified copper mineralisation in silicified amphibolite.

A total of six rock chip samples, measuring between two to 10 kilograms, were collected from the location. These samples have been sent to the Bureau Veritas for urgent gold, platinum group elements and multi-element assays.

Brunswick Gold Project covers an area of 240 square-kilometres and is located between the town of Donnybrook and Brunswick Junction, around 150 kilometres south of Perth.

The discovery is important for Kula, as it validates the exploration concept.

Kula has purchased remotely-sensed ASTER data, which shows additional targets in the area. Notably, all these target areas have not been historically explored.

Over the coming weeks, the company will conduct an extensive soil sampling program over these new areas of interest.

This will be followed by reverse circulation drilling to test the extent of the mineralisation, once the approvals have been collected.

On market close, Kula is up 7.32 per cent and is trading at 4.4 cents per share.
