Marquee Resources (MQR) has begun a 5800-metre drilling program at the Lone Star Copper-Gold Project in Washington State, USA.

A total of 42 holes will be drilled with depths ranging from 50 metres to 270 metres to confirm the grade, width and tenor of the mineralisation.

Executive Chairman Charles Thomas commented on the drilling program.

“We are now drilling 24/7 and working as quickly as possible to not only prove up the existing resource to Australian standards, but are looking to increase the known size of the project too,” Mr Thomas said.
