  • New World Resources (NWC) has received assay results for a further three diamond core holes completed at the Antler Copper Project in Arizona
  • Significantly, two of these holes returned exceptional thick, high‐grade intersections and are the deepest holes the company has drilled so far
  • The intersected mineralisation is located more than 400 metres down‐dip from the outcropping surface mineralisation, and 260 metres down‐dip from historical stopes
  • New World’s ongoing drilling program is aimed at bringing the high-grade Antler Copper Mine back into production
  • Company shares are up 10.3 per cent and are trading for 4.3 cents

New World Resources (NWC) has received assay results for a further three diamond core holes completed at the Antler Copper Project in Arizona, U.S.

Two of these holes are the deepest holes the company has completed so far.

The intersected mineralisation is located more than 400 metres down‐dip from the outcropping mineralisation at surface; and 260 metres down‐dip from historical stopes.

Best results from the latest holes include 30.5 metres at 1.99 per cent copper, 4.85 per cent zinc, 0.09 per cent lead, 11.1g/t silver and 0.46g/t gold from 408 metres, 10.6 metres at 4.15 per cent copper, 8.22 per cent zinc, 0.69 per cent lead, 32.4g/t silver and 0.50g/t gold from 410.65 metres including nine metres at 4.85 per cent copper, 9.6 per cent zinc, 0.52 per cent lead, 32.8g/t silver and 0.40g/t gold from 412.25 metres.

The mineralisation intersected in two of the holes is approximately 60 metres apart, and sits 50 metres from the mineralisation intersected in previously drilled hole, ANTRCDD202014, which returned 17.35 metres at 2.63 per cent copper, 6.72 per cent zinc, 0.64 per cent lead, 26.9g/t silver and 0.26g/t gold from 353.2 metres.

“Our drilling program at Antler continues to please, with exceptional thick, high‐grade intersections returned from the two deepest holes we have drilled to date,” Managing Director Michael Haynes said.

“Antler is rapidly emerging as a near‐term production opportunity for the company and, in light of our recent exploration success, we are now accelerating drilling operations with a second rig scheduled to arrive on site next week,” he added.

New World’s ongoing drilling program is focused on discovering thick, high‐grade mineralisation along strike from the historical stopes at the Antler deposit to ultimately expand the resource base and bring back the Antler Copper Mine into production.

Company shares are up 10.3 per cent and are trading for 4.3 cents at 1:44 pm AEST.
