Ora Gold (OAU) will begin reverse circulation (RC) drilling at its Lydia Prospect within the Garden Gully Gold Project.

Garden Gully is located 20 kilometres north-northwest of Meekatharra in Western Australia and it is Ora Gold’s flagship project.

This new program, which will consist of at least 40 holes, will aim to define the gold potential above the Lydia Shear Zone.

The Lydia Shear Zone was defined in the late 1980s via several shallow rotary air blast (RAB) and RC lines.

Previous drilling at the prospect tested the down-dip potential under the shear zone as the majority of the historical holes were terminated at a depth of 40 metres.

These holes were drilled to a depth of up to 80 metres where significant gold mineralisation was intersected.

Best results include seven metres at 24.5g/t gold from, two metres at 8g/t gold, and five metres at 7.10g/t gold.

Results from this new program will be announced once they have been analysed.

Ora Gold has ended the day 7.14 per cent in the green with shares trading for 1.5 cents each in a $10.04 million market cap.
