Predictive Discovery (PDI) has received further results from reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling at the Bankan Gold Project in Guinea.

This current drilling program is aimed at testing the NE Bankan gold deposit with work expected to carry on through March.

The initial RC pre-collar is completed and an oxide RC drilling program has begun to infill gold mineralisation in deeply weathered bedrock.

Best new results include 42 metres at 2.2g/t gold from 165 metres including two metres at 19.3g/g gold from 189 metres, and 10 metres at 2.5g/t gold from 300 metres including one metre at 17.9g/t gold from 307 metres.

Predictive has also undertaken a drilling program at the Bankan Creek prospect to target extensions to the mineralisation.

Results include 10 metres at 3.7g/t gold from 83 metres including 1.1 metres at 27g/t gold from 87 metres, and six metres at 1.7g/t gold from 188 metres.

These results have extended mineralisation a further 80 metres south with gold grades improving at depth.

The strike length measures a length of 240 metres with mineralisation remaining open in all directions.

“The latest results from NE Bankan continue to highlight the potential for a large open-pittable gold deposit, with deeper drilling demonstrating very broad widths in fresh rock and excellent hole-to-hole and depth continuity,” Managing Director Paul Roberts said.

“We are also very pleased that the Bankan Creek discovery continues to grow both to the south and the north, with significant high-grade intercepts along with the broader zones of gold mineralisation,” he added.

Furthermore, shallow aircore drilling has will be undertaken beneath anomalous gold-bearing intercepts at the NE Bankan, Bankan Creek and Bankan West prospects.

Once enough drill core has been collected from NE Bankan and Bankan Creek, a majority of the material will be sent for metallurgical testwork.

Predictive is up 3.39 per cent on the market and shares are trading at 6.1 cents at 11:59 am AEDT.
