Red River Resources (RVR) has intersected up to 27.7g/t gold from the Curry’s Lode at the Hillgrove Gold Project in NSW.

The company drilled two diamond holes, for 349.4 metres, at Curry’s Lode to follow up on its phase one drill program.

This phase one drilling confirmed the presence of high-grade gold-tungsten and associated antimony mineralisation at Curry’s Lode.

Diamond drilling was successful with both holes intersecting gold and tungsten mineralisation.

Results include 2.90 metres at 15.3g/t gold, 1.1 per cent antimony and 0.73 per cent tungsten trioxide from 144 metres, including 0.55 metres at 27.1g/t gold, 4.2 per cent antimony and 0.39 per cent tungsten trioxide from 146 metres.

Red River is now undertaking a detailed review of this drilling to plan its next phase which will focus on extending the mineralisation along strike at depth.

Additionally, the company is in the process of drilling at Eleanora-Garibaldi to convert the mineralisation to meet JORC 2012 standards.

Red River was down 4.65 per cent on the market with shares trading at 22.5 cents at 12:07 pm AEST.
