Today, Reef Casino Trust (RCT) has re-opened its Reef Hotel Casino.

The Reef Hotel Casino is located in Cairns, Queensland and has been closed due to COVID-19 lockdown restrictions since March 23.

The company said the casino, which includes in-casino food and beverage venues, will open at midday on Friday, July 3.

This announcement follows the Queensland Government putting the state into Stage 3 of the roadmap in easing restrictions around COVID-19.

Stage 3 is the last stage of the three-step framework for a post-COVID safe Australia.

The company said its hotel rooms and other food and beverage venues will reopen throughout next week.

To ensure safety and hygiene is practiced, the operator of the Reef Hotel Casino complex, Casinos Austria International, has implemented a COVID Safe Plan. This plan has been approved by the Queensland Government.

On the market today, Reef Casino Trust is up 5.64 per cent and is trading for $2.06 per share at 12:22 pm AEST.
