Resource Base (RBX) has promoted its current part-time Executive Chairman to the role of CEO.
Shannon Green has been appointed to the role of Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer on a full-time basis, effective from November 17.
Having overseen the company’s ASX listing, Shannon Green will turn his focus to advancing exploration and development activities at the Black Range Project and completing the proposed acquisition of Mitre Hill.
The appointment comes with a yearly salary of $300,000 per year, plus superannuation, along with performance-based bonuses.
“We are delighted to have further secured the services of Shannon who is a highly experienced mining executive, with the additional appointment to CEO to enable an even closer working relationship with key executives and the board,” Resource Base Non-Executive Director Jamie Myers said.
Mr Green comes with over 20 years of corporate, resource development and mining operations experience. He currently holds the role of Managing Director of Pathfinder Resources (PF1), with his last day marked for November 16.
Resource Base was down 8.16 per cent, trading at 22.5 cents at 12:15 pm AEST.
