Sky Metals (SKY) has updated the market regarding exploration at its Cullarin Project in New South Wales.

The Cullarin Project lies 25 kilometres west of Goulburn and is made up of volcanic-sedimentary rocks and considered prospective for gold-copper-zinc mineralisation.

Diamond drilling is continuing at the high-grade Hume Target at Cullarin with seven holes completed since January.

The aim of this drilling is to test the strike and depth extensions of the target.

Partial results were received in early March with a best intercept of four metres at 8.01g/t gold, 8.51 per cent zinc and 5.43 per cent lead from 284 metres recorded.

Best new results include six metres at 6.62g/t gold, 3.72 per cent zinc and 3.68 per cent lead from 295 metres.

These results have confirmed that high-grade gold, lead and zinc mineralisation exists at Hume.

“The results yet again demonstrate the potential of the Hume high-grade structure to host significant gold mineralisation,” CEO Mark Arundell said.

“SKY looks forward to further drilling with the focus on extending the limits of mineralisation,” he added

Sky Metals has ended the day in the grey with shares trading at 15 cents in a $45.73 million market cap.
