Talga Group (TLG) has enforced its environmental permit for the company’s commercial battery anode plant in Luleå Sweden.

The Swedish Land and Environment Court issued Talga with a certificate of finality, effectively meaning the environmental permit is now approved.

Talga’s environmental permit appeal closed on July 12, with no objections to the grant submitted.

The statutory process for the refinery environmental permit which was first given an execution order June 21, 2023 has now been completed.

Refinery building permits were issued earlier this year with no objections submitted.

Talga is now focused on starting refinery construction groundworks this quarter with early works including sourcing anode equipment and detailed engineering already commenced.

TLG was down 0.68 per cent to $1.45 at 11:12 am AEST.
