The Food Revolution Group’s (FOD) current CEO Tony Rowlinson has been appointed Managing Director.

The Australian food and beverage manufacturing company now has four independent directors and one executive director.

Tony was appointed as CEO of FOD in mid-April after taking over from previous CEO John Florey.

Tony has extensive experience, having held senior executive roles in companies across Australia, the United Kingdom, and South Africa.

Previously, he worked at International Paper with some Australia’s most iconic brands, such as Handee, Libra, and Sorbent.

John has also worked at Simplot Australia where he managed the Australian division of Lean Cuisine, John West, and Leggo’s.

He has also been Marketing Director for Coca Cola and was General Manager for Bristol Myers in the U.K. and South Africa.

“It is an honour to be appointed to the FOD board. The company has a fantastic product range which is reflected in the continued strength in demand for our Original Juice Company premium orange juice range,” Tony commented.

“Sales have been strong YTD and significantly above the corresponding period in FY20 as consumers look to seek vitamin-enriched and functional beverages to help build their immunity system,” he said.

“Operationally, we are driving a significant efficiency and cost reduction program that has already delivered in excess of $2 million in annualised savings. We will continue to drive efficiencies through the organisation via targeting improved through-put, better management of downtime and increased juice yields,” he added.

FOD is up a slight 1.92 per cent and shares are trading for 5.3 cents each at 3:44 pm AEST.
