Tietto Minerals (TIE) has intersected up to 55.13g/t gold from AG South at the Abujar Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa.

The results come from Tietto’s 54-hole diamond drilling program that was designed to convert the indicated resources to measured.

Results include four metres at 14.49g/t gold from 43 metres including one metre at 55.13g/t gold, and two metres at 27.65g/t gold from 86 metres including one metre at 46.09g/t gold.

Mineralisation at AG South remains open at depth and further drilling has been planned to assess the potential below the definitive feasibility study (DFS) open pit.

Assays are pending for a further 43 holes at AG South and 41 holes at AG Core while exploration results are pending for 75 diamond holes drilled along strike from AG.

“I am very pleased to see further high‐grade intercepts from the second batch of assay results for infill drilling at AG South, where we are targeting the conversion of indicated resources to measured resources in areas that are likely to be mined within the first two
years of gold production,” Managing Director Dr Caigen Wang said.

“Our diamond drilling teams are achieving very high drilling rates due to the shallower hole depths required for infill drilling.”

“This has allowed us to expand the program as we target a contiguous zone of measured resources between Section Lines 0 to 29 (AG South and AG Core) and within the first two years of production.”

Tietto will now deliver an update on Abujar’s life of mine production plan in early Q3 CY22, following the release of the maiden gold resource of 7.7 million tonnes at 1.4g/t gold for 350,000 ounces in April.

Furthermore, Tietto is progressing towards the first gold pour from Abujar by the end of Q4 CY22.

Shares in Tietto were in the grey on the market and were trading at 43 cents at 11:30 am AEST.
