TV2U International (TV2) has been chosen by the Caribbean Football Trust to deliver full live stream and on-demand access to the Islands Cup Open.

The Islands Cup Open will celebrate Caribbean football, mixing the sport with the Caribbean’s deep musical roots.

TV2U is a global entertainment platform that enables businesses to quickly and easily offer streaming content to their customers.

Under the five-year contract, TV2U will provide access to its iVAN-MV Sports Edition OTT technology.

The company will receive 5 per cent of the gross revenue generated from the TV2U Platform or a US$25,000 (around A$32,000) monthly management and service fee, whichever is greater.

Additionally, the Caribbean Football Trust will pay a US$100,000 (A$130,000) integration fee ahead of the commercial launch.

TV2U’s system has been designed to include both live and on-demand content for PCs, Macs, tablets and smartphones.

The tournament is expected to open in June 2021. This will be followed with pre-season generated content becoming available on the platform in the lead up to the tournament and first game kick-off on August 1.

Shares in TV2U are suspended and last traded for 0.8 cents.
