Brookside Energy (BRK) has made further progress at its Rangers well in the SWISH Area of Interest (AOI), located in the Andarko Basin, Oklahoma.
Rangers is the second well at the SWISH AOI and is being drilled as a mid-length horizontal well targeting the Sycamore foundation.
Last week, the company drilled the well to a total measure depth of about 17,460 feet.
Currently, the horizontal section of Rangers has been successfully cased with the production casing string landed, set and cemented in place.
The rig, Kenai Rig 18, at the well has now been released and demobilised after successfully completing its drilling operations at Rangers.
Site preparation is now underway in preparations for the arrival of well stimulation equipment and subsequent production of oil and rich gas.
“Operations are proceeding on schedule, safely and without incident,” the company told the market.
On the market, Brookside last traded at 2.1 cents per share.
