Metals developer and explorer Cassini Resources (CZI) has uncovered a priority nickel and copper sulphide target at its Yarawindah Brook Project in Western Australia.

Yarawindah is located 20 kilometres south of the town New Norica, in Western Australia. The project is prospective for nickel, copper, cobalt and platinum.

Earlier this month, the company reported it has seen encouraging nickel and copper intersects at the first two drill holes. Currently, a third hole is in progress, testing an electromagnetic (EM) anomaly.

Cassini says it has seen visually encouraging nickel and copper sulphide results intersected over a 10-metre zone in YAD0020 at Ovis.

Since the previous update, the company has received 200 metre-spaced infill soil results and a partially completed EM survey along the Brassica NW trend.

“The EM survey has defined a 90-metre by 65-metre, 1500-siemens conductor at the XC06 anomaly,” the company said.

Due to these results, the XCO6 anomaly is now considered a high-priority target for immediate drill testing. The company intends to move the rig to XC06, after it has completed the third hole later this week.

Recent rainfall has briefly delayed drilling and EM surveying, however, it has now resumed.

Cassini is up 8.70 per cent on the market today, selling shares for 12.5 cents each at 11:59 pm AEST.
