Orange Minerals (OMX) has reported its first activities quarterly report after listing on the ASX last month.

Over the December quarter, the company completed its phase one drilling program at its Calarie Gold Project in New South Wales.

Drilling included over 1000 metres of reverse circulation drilling at ten holes. The program aimed to validate historical drill holes and look to extend mineralised horizons intersected in previous drill programs.

Assays from the drilling program are expected next month.

Orange was listed on the ASX in December after successfully raising $7 million.

Over at the Wisemans Creek Project, Orange completed a desktop review of the project area to determine the optimal areas for an initial drilling program. From this, the company has created a phase one drilling program.

Additionally, Orange also completed a desktop study at the Majestic Project tenements of the Eastern Goldfields, in WA.

At the end of the period, the company’s cash balance was $6.6 million.
